When the only advantage AMZN has is the lack of brick and mortar sites, they may see that as a solution of last resort and begin selling local franchises to take advantage of their name recognition, thus being the first to go from virtual to reality. What a concept!

At the rate the MM's are manipulating the market I feel like I will be among the disappointed put buyers. Right idea but bad timing.

Is, The one thing I do like in the Amzn business model is they get your cash the minute you buy the commodity. The cash is in their account, regardless of how long it takes them to get you the commodity.
Also, re the tax problem, remember congress has given them a 2 or 3 year moratorium before they would consider taxing the Internet.
So that gives Bezos quite some breathing room, before he has to face that bullet. The Internet lobby worked hard on that one.
Trust me on that.
