Greg,

Your order was changed on 9/8/98. I gave you a new order number which was ########. This order was cancelled by our Financial Services group. I believe it had something to do with the transfer of the authorization on your credit card from the first order to the second order. The second order confirmation stated that your estimated shipping date was 10/5/98. I spoke
to your friend yesterday. He was the one that called and asked for the status on your order. I noticed your order was cancelled. I replaced the order and sent a message to my manager to expedite the order. We have not yet reached the estimated shipping time of 10/5. I replaced the order for you. Hopefully that this system will ship before your first estimated shipping date. I believe the issue you are speaking of that has to do with the DVD and the operating system is only for the new DVDSoft. It does not apply to the 4th generation DVD ROM drive. Your configuration is not affected by this issue. The reason the previous order was on a long lead time was the Integrated sound and the DVD. This combination was the reason
for the long lead time in the first place.

Thank you,
Pamela>>
