Does anyone have a feel for how big this order is? With all the troubles comming out of Japan it's good to remind ourselves that we ain't talking no third world country here. This thing could be huge!

Japan Telecom appears to be the leader in digital networks and fiber communications in Japan. They are a relatively new company. Here is a link to their annual report.

They seem to be doing a lot of business with Nortel.
