ALSC is clearly in a pattern of accumulation. 1/32 or 1/16 at a time, ALSC has moved from $2 up to today's close of $2-3/8. Looks like this trend will continue at least until 10/20. After that where it goes will obviously depend on how does it come out of this qtr. But my feeling is that the worst is probably over for the company. ALSC should drift higher from this point on. The first meaningful resistance might be at $3. But again, depends on the earning result and more importantly, the company's comment for the coming qtrs, ALSC might have a surprisingly strong upswing into high $3, even $4.

Good luck to us long term share holders!

Bill, I like it a lot when the entire world thinks DRAM is forever dead. The pendulum always swings too far. Always. It's just a matter of time and if ALSC doesn't run out of cash, which I think they won't because they can always sell some more of their wafer fab investments if desired, then they'll live to see the next up cycle. In the last up cycle in 1994/95, ALSC was over $40. So the upside potential, if sky doesn't fall, is huge and worth waiting for, IMO. And then if you glance back at the chart, ALSC went from 7 to 15 and later 4 to 9 in 1997/1998 on basically no news at all.

Does anyone care to state on the record that they think ALSC will never rise again?
