New info from Voodooextreme:

I think that we might see the Rev 3 design picked up by at least one or two
companies this Fall.

Also, it's no secret that we are developing future versions of Voodoo
Banshee. Voodoo Banshee is meant to be a family of products. As a part of
that future family, you will see faster processors (higher clock). The dual
TMU thing is really a question.

It's technically possible to add a second TMU, but we want to keep Voodoo
Banshee a single chip product. The dual TMU approach is really what
Voodoo2 is all about.

My comments:

Schick seems to be implying that Banshee can be upgraded by adding an extra TMU without a change in the Banshee chip itself. ie. A two chip set. This is good news as it avoids an entirely new development phase.

Diamond doesn't seem to have any Monster II's to sell right now for direct sales (http://www.diamondmm.com/products/current/monster3d2.cfm). Comments on the web site state plainly that the Monster II is not in stock! Either Diamond has screwed up again on their inventory or they plan on doing a revision 3. This is also a good indicator that Diamond has been selling out of inventory without replenishing supply. This just means sales from Q3 will be pushed to Q4.
