Story on the Nvidia lawsuit: dailynews.yahoo.com Wow! It would appear that 3dfx does in fact own multitexturing in the general sense and not just their own method. It's my personal opinion that this is out of line and that the patent probably shouldn't have been granted. To late now though. The article also says that the chances are pretty good for defending the patent. Wow! This means royalties from Nvidia, ATI, Rendition, 3dlabs, etc. The whole industry will be watching the outcome of this with an eagle eye. What king of backlash can we expect from the industry and how will it effect the company in terms of $$? Pat
