ATY has exceeded expectations in the last three quarters. I expect the same this quarter based on their press release in July or August that they had reached over $1 billion. But I have the same concerns about there being enough buyers to cause a good run up in October.

I agree with you. When there is no apparent logical reason for the price to drop on reasonably large volumes it usually indicates that somebody in the know is cashing out ahead of some bad news. Where ATI has been flying any earnings disapointment is likely to be met with a sharp reaction. Then may be the time for the sellers to buy back in.
Farther along we'll know all about it and understand why.
