Hmm...Even now (after the close) Fidelity is reporting the spread as 3/4 to 3/4 on the options I mentioned (eqija). Maybe their quote system is not working properly for this option? This same non-spread was present towards the end of the trading day, although there were periods where I received the same 13/16 to 1 spread that you noted. I am confused about this, but it shouldnt effect me since I wont be selling for a while.

In any case, some of the reasons I was referring to were :

1) The recent weakening of several international economies...this effects everyone to varying degrees.
2) The correction in the US stock market over the past several months.
3) Those are macro factors...specific to ENER, perhaps the fact that profitability continues to be far away (relatively speaking) and while there hasnt been any significant bad news, there has been a lack of good news that would buoy the stock price in light of factors #1 and #2. (I know you may try to cite some recent releases, but I just feel that there hasnt been enough to excite buyers.)

I am also very upbeat on ENER, but I am of the opinion that SOME of the drop from the mid-teens range is justified right now, but most of it isn't. I am looking for a near-term bounce to around 8, and I am also optimistic for the company's long-term prospects. DVD, photovoltaics, and the car batteries all are things which I think will propel ENER to profitability as the markets expand for the those technologies.
