(NASDAQ: WCII) announced today that it has completed the integration of its voice and data networks as part of the nationwide deployment of its facilities-based telecommunications services.
WinStar has co-located data switches, which provide ATM and Frame Relay capability as well as Internet connectivity, in each market where it has a Lucent Class 4/5ESS-2000 voice switch. As WinStar expands its national Wireless Fiber(SM) service in additional markets, it will continue to co-locate state-of-the-art voice and data switches at each of its new switch sites.
