I just read a press release on AOL about the Wireless IT show in mid-October. The most intriguing aspect of the release, forgetting that GMGC and Bell South will both be there, is that according to the release Microsoft "will be making major announcements" at the show and that it is "Microsoft's coming out party" in the wireless field. Of course, this is PR for the tradeshow. We shall see. The next month is sure to be interesting for us as well as the larger industry as a whole.The Fall Internet Show and Interop will round out a lot of focus on telphony/internet applications. Let's hope that the macro-economic picture holds up, at least enough to not squash a potentially very exciting time. Best wishes to all who believe in the magic. Seconds Out.
