Sir, I was just being flippant. BUt in fact Dell has been growing at the amazing rate I cited. I do not expect it to continue at this rate indefinitely. No company could. But I expect it to for another 2 years or 3. Dell has only 9% of market share and its business model gives it great advantages and flexibility. Go to the Dell thread and browse. I came to this stock with great skepticism and have yet to leave it. To use a Buffet-ism, Dell is also helped out by competitors who think the world is flat.
On another subject what do you think of TLAB, now just off its 52 week low, a sound telecommunications company, and here is a margin of safety a Buffett practitioner will surely appreciate.
When will BRKB advance out of its doldrums in your view?
How do you--or the thread--think WEB will deploy his GEN RE billions?
I hear on the radio Fed likely to cut rates "sooner rather than later," and I suspect the bear interlude is about over.
Any thoughts?
