Well, you overgrown warm bucket of pond scum, I think the HK line is super. It just doesn't fit right for my hand.... and is a bit too bulky.......probably just right for you. Not crazy about polymers... It's not a valid thing..just personal preference.

I thought the Anaconda was a .44 only but it would be the biggest .357 since the S&W 27. I just sold a Colt King Cobra in .357 with a 4" barrel. It was a very good shooter. Good action right from the box. The only real problem I would have with todays available handguns would be purchasing anything less than a Taurus. Really shouldn't go for thrift when your life may depend upon it.

Really need to use what works best for you. The Browning High Power is superb, but seems antiquated by todays standards.

I've gone through many weapons over the years and would use a 1911 in .45 for ever if necessary. Kimber is the best available for the money.

Hi Dough Boy,

Don't bother with any .357 unless it's a 7 or 8 shot. S&W's Performance Center makes a nice 8 shot through Lew Horton.

However, if your looking for a reasonable weapon, the market will be flooded with 6 shooters when pin shooters upgrade.

If you like polymer high caps you can't beat the Glocks or the new Kimber. Glock guns are predominate on the USPSA and IPSC circuits and are known for reliability at a very reasonable price. They feel like junk but they hold up!
