Ed:

I'll let Rod respond to this one. I'm not sure where this question is coming from. Did I miss an announcement about the Islero #1??? Sidetracking can occur for a variety of reasons. A well planned and executed well with no surprises, geologic success, and a prolific charge of hydrocarbons typically doesn't need any "sidetracking". However, anybody who has hung around the oil patch knows that Murphy's Law can dominate even the best laid plans.

Rod what do you think? Again, did I miss something important about the HEC Islero #1???

Great to watch December Light Sweet Crude contracts on the NYMEX bumping up against the $16.00 mark. Perhaps we're going to see some strengthening of prices in the patch... It's been a pretty ugly valley.

Ed,
My opinion of having to sidetrack the well is much like yours. Any time you have well bore problems during drilling it is cause for concern. I don't care how common it is... it is not what you want to have to deal with in any well. Rank wildcats are subject to huge learning curves, and this well is no exception. It is a very expensive school to be attending. We'll be through with our first class in three to four weeks.
