Introducing DeskTopr Theater 5.1: Dolby Digitalr (AC-3) Surround Sound for PCs with DVD Players. Desktop Theater 5.1 is a fully-integrated Dolby Digitalr 5.1 surround sound system for use with multimedia PCs. It consists of 5 satellite cube speakers, a powered subwoofer and a control amplifier with built-in Dolby Digital and Dolby Surround decoders. When using a computer equipped with a DVD player from Creative's PC-DVD series, Desktop Theater 5.1 can create a totally immersive home theater experience with unbelievably realistic sound. Left and right front speakers can be side-mounted (with their Velcro kits) on the monitor or placed on their desktop stands. Rear speakers can be Velcro-mounted underneath the desk surface, placed on the outer front corners of the desk with their desktop stands, or used with their supplied floor speaker stands. These floor stands are small enough to be placed under the work surface or placed on the floor behind the listeners. Great for 3D game playing. Desktop Theater 5.1 has a Dolby Digital (AC-3) input for movie soundtracks as well as Dolby Digital encoded computer games It also includes front and rear analog stereo inputs so it can be used with software titles incorporating 3D positional audio. The amplifier also includes a Creative Multi-Speaker Surround decoder that produces surround sound effect, even with mono or stereo audio signals not encoded for surround sound.
