As a WAG, I'd suspect that Dell is holding a press conference that will offer a product competing with GTW's and AAPL's internet ready PCs. But it could be almost anything. You'll probably know before 10am tomorrow.

Excite said ConnectDirect is designed to give Dell consumers and business customers fast access to the Internet with a customized experience using Excite as a portal. Each individual Dell Dimension desktop personal computer shipped will connect the customer to a personalized Excite start page. Also, Dell selected AT&T CORP's (T: 58-9/16, + 1/8) WorldNet Service as the Internet service provider to support ConnectDirect. AT&T said WorldNet will provide Internet connectivity to Dell Dimension desktop PC customers. (Dow Jones)
