SFNB ( the bank side) was only started to develop and show their Web side of the equation. The bank itself is sold as of the end of the month. Here is some interesting info on SFNB Finance Home - Yahoo! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Message Boards Help - Edit Public Profile - Personalize - Sign Out Top:Business and Finance:Stocks:Technology:Software and Programming:SFNB (Security First Network Bk) <- Previous Next -> Message 1139 of 1142 Reply SFNB ramblings (my first post) joubertb Sep 23 1998 1:20PM EDT This will be my first post although I have been reading messages here for a long time. I have enjoyed everyones comments. I thought I would share some thought about SFNB that I have and maybe pass on some information you don't already know. I am also long on SFNB. I believe in their product and use SFNB for all my banking. I have had no real problems. And I love being able to get access to my account information at any time. I now only hope that they will provide OFX support so I can import my information easy into Quicken. I believe this is in the works. I have installed the client pieces of VBM (or what ever it is called now) onto a VirtualVault. I helped integrate VBM onto VirtualVault 1.0. At that time there was not documentation, nothing. It was a pain. But since David and Reese have joined things have drastically changed. I think 4.0 will probably take many more steps forward, but I know nothing about 4.0. With reguards to SONE leadership, I can only say that I have meet Chip a few times in passing. Never had much of a "real" conversation. But I can tell you more about the technical leadership of SONE. I used to work for David and Reese. They are both great guyes to work for. Reese was the kind of guy we all tought could walk on water. If he asked us to walk through fire, we would not have blinked because we had such confidence in him. He is probably one of the most gifted technical persons I have ever met. Just having him run the technical side of SONE makes me not even hesitate investing in his company. Both he and David did an incredible job with SecureWare and from that I know that SONE will also become a success because both strive to for only the best. Lots of people know about Chip or Stockwell, but like bbuschman said, if Reese and David would not have joined up, things at SONE would not be moving in such a positive way. A little info: A couple of Banks in the far east are now on-line. ANZ Bank (Australia), Southern Bank of Berhad (Malaysia), and Southern Bank of Mauritius (Port Louis). Also, it seems the S1 has closed the support and sales divisions in Australia due to the Asian currency crisis. It will be a pure development shop. Interesting to hear that they do some development work in Australia. Well, I think that should do for one day. I have enjoyed my time on this board and now that I have stuck my toe into the water I hope to participate more in the future. --joubert View Replies to this Message SFNB: Quote | Profile | Research | Insider This Is a Reply to: Msg 1138 by bbuschman <- Previous Next -> Message 1139 of 1142 Reply Stock Price Alerts.
