That is supposed to be a big no-no...Just because other OTC-BB companies are breaking this minor rule, doesn't make it right for CSMA to do it.

Kurt, you are wrong. It is commonly used in the investment community. Here are two companies who provide quotes and other financial data:

From Quote.com who delivers news, analysis and market information:

Symbol Prefixes:

For an equity option, enter a '+' before the symbol, ie. '+IBMJK'.

For a commodity option, enter a '-' before the symbol, ie. '-CYmss', where 'm' = month code and 's' = strike price digits.

Nasdaq Bulletin Board = 'BB:XXXX'

Here is the link:

fast.quote.com

There are many filings to the SEC with the "Nasdaq Bulletin Board" phrase. It is not misleading at all.

Here is a 10K filing to the SEC from a company who should know; Data Broadcasting Corporation:

dbc.smart-edgar.com

Here is an excerpt from it:

DBC West also offers access to Dow Jones News Retrieval databases and proprietary DBC news via modem and links to the Signal Private Network internet site, which contains information on Nasdaq Bulletin Board stocks, a large database of historical and fundamental data, charts, commentary, comprehensive research and business descriptions of thousands of public and private companies.

And this is from a Nasdaq listed company, not a company aspiring to be there.

Just because other OTC-BB companies are breaking this minor rule, doesn't make it right ...

What rule? Who made this rule? I am all ears!
