You have good reason to be nervous! Its natural! Sea Otter is very knowledgeable concerning GMGC. So lets hope she has this one pegged! I believe we will test the 15 mark soon!

In the conference call on earnings back in July(?) Steve Markman categorically stated that they would not release subscriber numbers - only revenues (analysts can work back from them).

It has been reported here that we can expect subscriber numbers with earnings but personally I doubt it. Anyway that's why you shouldn't be hanging for numbers now. Same goes for telco announcements - all investor relations contact has indicated these will be end of this year/1Q99. My guess is we will get one Telco announced within the next 4 weeks but again if we do it is a 'surprise'.

I would only be concerned with your investment here if you don't see the stock price you are looking for by end of this year. Remember the fundamentals remain unchanged despite that price fall - there should never have been any expectation of earnings at that point. Sadly there was.

>Couldn't the change in moving the ADS release
>date forward be due to a lack of
>resellers signing subscribers?

That is a logical alternative reading. However,
I don't think so. Anecdotal evidence is that the
service is doing very well (based on my chats with a
few resellers and few gmgc employees, plus what
I've seen from other posts).

However, no one has ever told me a customer count.
Private strategic info - I'll doubt they'll ever
disclose these numbers. Markman made this clear.

I suspect they did go through a dip after the early
sign-ups. The real heatseekers got in quickly and
then they've grown slowly from there, via referrals.
But all to be expected.

As to Telcos, well, I don't see any reason to doubt
the party line on this either. Telcos are large, they're
conservative. It takes time to get the brontosaurus
moving. Plus, GMGC simply wasn't in a position yet
capacity-wise to take advantage of such a deal. Now
they're at the point where such a deal would be
exploitable. And, certainly, the Telcos have had
the time to fully evaluate the service. Add to this
the new market-validating entrants (Netscape), and the
innate competitive/differentiation pressures within
the telecom industry itself, then it seems to me
that we're set to run within a couple months. The
stars are aligned.

I'm a born skeptic too, and also didn't enjoy the fall
from $14. Let's keep watching and researching this
thing, maybe we can figure it out! Good luck.
