Wiz You could be very well right this may be the same NR from Aug. But I see they have warrants-do we?? Old NR for you!! Autumn Industries Inc - First seven months results for subsidiary(IME) Autumn Industries Inc ATUShares issued 5,459,413 1997-03-03 close $0.47Thursday Mar 6 1997 Mr Byron Loewen reports Profitable earnings from the company's wholly owned subsidiary, Interior Mill Equipment (1985) for the first seven months of operations are as follows: Sales for period ending December 31 1996: $4,093,677 Gross margin: $870,191 Profit: $136,558 (Results are unaudited and provided by management.) In addition, the company has received and accepted the resignations of Mr Roderick Allan, controller and Ronald Kolman, investor relations. Just thought I would give you a news release from 1997. A couple of things interesting here. After only 7 months, in 1997, they had $4M in sales and the latest news release from today has $3.1M in the last 8 months. There gross margin in 1997 was 21.2% hardly enough to make any profit as you can see from the NR only $136,558 in profit. At the present time I believe they are trying to get their margins to 26% which if they are would have a gross margin of $821,120 so far this year. But remember their burn rate runs at least $60000 remembering Byron takes $8000 a month at least out of the company in wages. This was a big dispute in June and the understanding was they would be getting the burn rate down. I don't see it yet. The other interesting note is the fact that this is the month Ron Kolman left the company-that day the stock was trading at .47 but down from a high of .90 earlier on. I could find out how much earlier the stock was trading at .90 but I don't have that information at my finger tips. Also notice the number of shares just in 03/03/97. The delusion now must be well over 17M. And the price from .47 to .10. It is obvious why a few were losing confidence in the present management BUT we have given them until the end of June 1999. I will be the first to congradulate them if we start to get some upward movement. You have to excuse me some of my comments are from pure frustation. John
