Clarence Thomas, the unqualified rubber stamp of Scalia Supreme Court justice went for years to an Evangelical Episcopalian church in Fairfax, VA; Truro Episcopal. It is one of the Evagelican take-over denominations churches. What they do is keep the rituals of the church, but change all the theolgy to the Evangelical (Southern Baptist fundamentalist) agenda. It is stealth takeover using gays and woman as justification. I actually had an affair for almost a year with a married women that went to that very church. They are incredible hypocrites. She thought it was ok because I believed in God.
