blank....

lock me in with the

Saint Louis Rams - 3 1/2...
i was impressed how the Cardinals
controlled the ball thru the final
quarter of sunday nights game with the
lowly eagles, but i think the Rams at home
will be too explosive offensively.

Tampa Bay -1 1/2....monday night.
Tampa Bay needed 2 1/2 games to get
in sync. and after seeing them dismantle
the bears in the 2nd half of sundays battle,
i'm convinced they will roll over
Batch and the boys from motown.

paul.

I hate to do it, but I gotta pick the Cardinals +3 1/2 and the Steelers -2 1/2.

Rams have a better offense than the Cards (so does my old high school, though) but the Cards defense makes up the difference and then some. A bit worried about special teams for Arizona, though - that'll be where they lose it if they do.

Picking the Steelers just because they CAN'T be that bad, and they owe me after last week. If they'd just give the ball to Bettis they'd be fine, and I hope they are starting to realize that.

It's time to get on the winning track Week 4 will be All Pennsylvania Card

KC - 8 1/2 over Philly

The only way Philly covers is if KC can't find the Vet. It's their inaugural trip to the Vet. Well, Carl Peterson knows where it is at least (Eagles - Late 70's Philly Stars USFL - Early '80's) ;)

Pittsburgh - 2 1/2 over Seattle

I'm taking Pittsburgh for the third week in a row. Hopefully, the third times the charm. Seattle is a questionable 3-0. The combined record of their opponents is a horrid 1-8......... Steelers need to run Bettis 25+ times. Stewart can't win without a running game

Minnesota -7.5 The Bears won't know what hit them, the receiver three some will eat up the secondary early, making the Bears play catch up...while Robert Smith has another huge game. With Randle moving around on the defensive line, he will be hard to double and will be able to disrupt the Chicago offense.

Cincinatti +5.5 The Bengles defense has been able to keep some high power offenses in check. Baltimore shouldn't be nearly as hard as Green Bay.

Best of Luck,

Where'd He Go?

I pick GB (-7 1/2) and Denver (-7 1/2). Their competition in these games are spiraling down, down, down... Elway is definitely available for this weeks game, if needed (he'll probably start). How long before Norv Turner is thrown out of the Jack(in-the-box)? Panthers have way to many injuries on the defense to stop GB.

Look for the Saints to be 3-0. Hoping the Ravens are 2-2 by Monday.

Go Ravens!!!
Laron

My picks are Atlanta +10 1/2 at San Francisco, and Denver -7 1/2 at Washington. I'm praying Chris Chandler (a.k.a. Crystal Chandelier <g>) doesn't get hurt.

My apologies to the thread about the Seattle-Pittsburgh game. I thought the game was in Seattle, and that was the basis for my strong feelings toward Seattle. I felt Seattle was too good to be a home dog.
