Norm, Well, some people stopped posting when they couldn't confirm a bloody thing about the company. (Namely me). As to the commission, you should call Schwab and explain that you beleive the company to be defunct. I think that they can dispose of them rather than sell them, and they should charge you less. Then you can take the full loss on taxes. I've got two stocks also which are worth less than the commission I'd pay to sell them, and I'm planning to do the same thing if I can. Good luck, -Tony
