Chris, Our ring was: three long and two short. (Northern Iowa) Your mother (kicking you outside) sounds like a very wise person and someone who cared a lot and had a great deal to share. Those were good times and fun to remember. Sometimes, I wonder what my kids will remember, with teh same fond memories as I remember my youth (all 50 years of it). * OFF TOPIC * on top of the list of Junk i said we have, we also have about 3,000 books, as we live in bookstores at times. Also, you know you are getting old when your kids say: 1) kids: 'what is that ?' - my reply:'it's a record' kids: 'what's it for ??' Me; 'playing music' kids: 'NO WAY'. 2) kids: 'what's that thing with the dial' me: 'old telephone' 3) kids: 'what is a compact disc ? Me: 'that's C-D to you' kids: 'oh. i never knew that'. I encourage ALL of you to take your kids to any nearby 'Antique Mall' and have so FUN.
