Marriage: In your church, Dwight, it's fine for you to set the rules and say it's not negotiable. Outside of your church, it's not a discussion. It's not the state's, nor a church's business who I choose as my partner. It's definitely not about acceptance. I'm no more interested in your acceptance of my relationship than I imagine you are of my accepting yours. It's between me, my partner, and the power up above. If that turns out to be the God as viewed by your church and he says, "Hey, JP, you're going to hell for that." I'd say, "So be it. Can't think of a better reason to go than love."
