"what he does in his private matters not to me"

I didn't know the white house would be classified as a private matter! It seems like he did Monica at his place of business, so this should be a major concern! How many times has he screwed the country!

Lee,

I have done a lot worse that Bill, at least on the moral basis. I have also not been an anti-Clintonite since day one. I just can't tolerate a person in a position of power telling me how to think, when it insults my common sense. I will never agree to let someone point their finger in my face and lie, and turn around and find justification for it. If I was not effected by him, I would let it go and my opinion would be, oh well people lie, whats new. This person is in a position of power only because of the support from us. I am withdrawing mine. When we repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly repeatedly....

tell you that sex is not the issue, why do you who claim not to want him to be punished for his immorality and try to put that on us? The issues, if anything, are interwoven and inseparable. But the sex issue is not my issue. I can't handle someone continuing to lie in my face expecting me not to think for my self enough to call it a lie.

You are obviously a person able to form an opinion and weigh the information that forms your opinion. Just consider this one more time. Do you want your government officials (regardless of what you think they can give you) to redefine the obvious for you, thus telling you that what you know to be true by common sense is not?
I am concerned about free thinking people on this issue who are giving that up out of a sense of loyalty to Bill. You think he is giving you and us alot. That is arguable. My question again is, at what price?
You might say, OK he is lying but if Clinton is out the alternative is bad. You know what, that is a form of black mail.
