Tim and thread,
Check out the telecom/datacom semiconductor stocks. They are showing great strength the last few days. Many are beaten up more then they should be, IMO.

Here are a few that are really moving nicely in the last couple of days:
VTSS PMCS BRCM MMCN AMCC UNPH

While all are probably decent long term holdings (assuming no major change in current fundamentals), they are also terrific trading stocks. They tend to move in unison as well. For those who like to short, they also provide nice opportunities, as they tend to run up fast and back off, so it can be very easy to pick off a 1/2 or more.

Best of luck,
Michael

I guess I should add some short term targets for these stocks:
VTSS 31
MMCN 20
PMCS 36
UNPH 48
BRCM 82
AMCC 20

I would strongly suggest selling into strength and locking in profits. These are very volatile.
