Mr K.

Replacement PC's surely can be purchased over the internet, however the number of replacements will dwindle I suspect as in home applicances supplant their function. Many beleive that we'll be surfing from our TV's. Remember URLs are much like the channels on a TV - they're just user programable. Now, assume that you have 500 channels on your TV - 400 of them are programable. You set say 100 of them to be your "favorite sites" - one will surely be SI <vbg>. The remaining 300 you leave to "surf" with. It's really quite simple.

Then the question becomes how many PC's are being used solely for Internet access. If the Web enabled TV comes into being how many of these internet PC's will in fact be replaced?
