Mike,
You really hit the nail on the head, as we say out here in the midwest. The @Home cable modem service has a market cap of over 100 times that of ACTV. Why? It is limited by the same constraints that ACTV has, namely set top box availability. So what's the deal? As opposed to the internet, interactive tv is an unknown in the minds of most investors. We saw this in the article posted by Steve. The analyst quoted in the article really didn't know how to value the franchise that ACTV has.

This is where the partnership we have with Liberty Media is so important to us. They will vastly speed the roll out of all the ACTV services. David Reese, in his conference call, hinted at the possibility of using pay per view as a precursor to rolling out ACTV-enhanced sports in regions where we have not announced yet. A very smart business plan I think. There is no substitute for actually broadcasting our enhanced sports content. "If we broadcast it, they will come." Was that a line in a movie or something?
