JW,

When I read this in WSJ this morning, I wanted to spit on this dipweed. What nerve to say we all need his firm's advise on picking stocks, when they get $1000 for a 1000 shares of IBM. Of course, it couldn't be his own pocket that he's really worried about, could it?

I have a ML stockbroker up the street that I've known for years. I'll test my knowledge of market conditions and strategies against his any day of the week.

Alan

JW: Here is the REAL issue. Why OVERPAY some salesman at Merrill or other high priced full service firm for a generic financial plan and high priced managed money account and or mutual fund that typically underperform the averages!?

The Internet now offers the tools to develop/manage your own financial plan and buy the same managed money accounts and/or mutual funds at NO COST!
