Walt: Interesting that this fellow appears not to have mentioned that the EU is moving in the direction of banning Ni-Cd batteries altogether, on the grounds that recycling initiatives are ineffective (people just throw them out) and the cadmium ends up in the water table.

One wonders what will happen to nickel prices should Russia ever be successful in moving the ore en masse to the world market. This is another one of the snags in the ECD drama that could make a big difference to the prices of our products should it ever be resolved.
