Yes, Litte Engine, those were the days of irrational exuberance, when Digitcom was flying, along with a lot of other stocks.... some BBs, some others. The Dow was pushing towards 9,000, AOL and Lucent were splitting every six months, internet stocks were so hot that an investor almost couldn't lose, and there was a lot of euphoria. I made a double on General Magic, a triple on Real Networks, and a lot of other great plays. ALl of those stocks are way down now, and I have lost most of my original investment by holding instead of selling. But I blame no one but myself, and I still think this market will turn around. Something I will never do, however, is to go on those threads and throw into people's faces statements they made back when times were great, especially with stocks that I never held. I don't like losing money, but I do need to live with myself.
