At $200+ a pop, AMD is making BIG money on the K6. AMD has positioned the K6 mobile to compete with the PII-300. It is an excellent move. The K6 die size is only 69mm^2. Yes AMD is DESPERATE! They are ECSTATIC to get $200+ for a 69mm^2 silicon. It made Intel looks stupid selling a PII-300 for $600+. Every consumer out there can now afford a 300MHz notebook below $2K. Go AMD.
