Datastream to Integrate Its Asset Management Software with Platinum Software's ERP Solution

IRVINE, Calif. Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Platinum(R) Software Corporation (Nasdaq: PSQL), a leading provider of enterprise resource planning solutions, announced today that the company has recently signed a strategic alliance agreement with Datastream Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: DSTM).

Under the terms of the agreement, Datastream will integrate its award- winning, enterprise asset management software, MP2(R) Enterprise, with Platinum SQL to add asset management and maintenance management capability.

The combination of Platinum Software and Datastream's MP2 will leverage the technology of Microsoft(R) BackOffice(TM) technologies, including Windows NT(R) and SQL Server(TM), to provide scalability and ease of implementation.
