That actually reminds me of something a reporter said the other day after Clinton's appearance with Obuchi in New York. He said, "The President looked very presidential in this meeting, which is what the American people wanted to see him be."
In other words, the American people have all the depth of a puddle in the road. It doesn't matter to us that he's committed slimy, sleazy acts, as long as he "looks presidential"????
I thought that was the oddest thing to say!
