I think even the man from Oz (or that neighborhood anyway) may discover he's got a tax bill afterall. I.e., dividend income treatment, rather than capital gains. Only a guess, of course. (On the other hand the whole thing may be sufficiently obscure that our Wooly friend can just slide through. <gg>)

Valueman, I'm hip to the notion of "low price on day 1 to minimize tax bite", but: what exactly constitutes our tax basis on day 1? The opening price, median price, closing price? Also, can I take a deduction based on diminuation in value cause the ticker symbol resembles a certain White House aide? Inquiring minds want to know. Best, Mike Doyle
