Well, I am sure both you and Olu are right, and thanks for commenting; really!

I am really learning here; got to start somewhere. Actually once I have a small short position (for stocks such as Amzn, and now Yhoo), I "dare" to trade against the short shares. Otherwise it's "very difficult" to just "buy" due to MO.

Regardless of the money involved, shorting a stock on a breakout is the worst form of trading.
Dell, AOL, Cisco, Microsoft...none have reached new highs yet, but Yahoo has.

Thank you! william. That's what I was trying to tell Jan. This morning was the *easiest* day of the whole year to make money!! AOL, YHOO and CMGI were layups! All breaking above resistance on volume!!

New highs don't always last forever. Having said that, I would strongly recommend shorting AMZN instead of YHOO. While YHOO is making new highs AMZN is still off 40% or so.

That tells you that AMZN isn't nearly as strong as YHOO.
