Hey Sig,

Are you getting bored yet...sitting at the computer and watching your portfolio grow ;-)

I sold my CPQ a couple of months ago as well and moved the funds into more DELL, I sure have not regretted that transaction.

Take care,

T.R.

Speking of CPQ, did a comparative test with 2 systems yesterday:

1. DELL Inspiron 233 - 64 Meg RAM
2. CPQ 1700 (233) - 64 Meg RAM

I produced a large multimedia show on (200 MB) with video/audio/animations/interactivity and wanted to see
which machine performed better:

After analysis, we realized that the Dell system had more
current hard-drive controllers as well as a secondary hard-drive
controller which led to a measurable difference in system
performance.

This was for the one of the largest management firms in the world
and I was in there with the systems guy who basically purchased
laptop systems for the entire company.

They said that they can recommend to their management any particular
sytem for the managers to purchase, and asked which system i would
recommend.

Gee, wonder which one I chose?
