Absolutely true, irby. Like getting a job, it's the fit between parties that matters, not who is accepting or rejecting whom.

thanks for the great thread, peter

Irby, you've got several great threads and you have made huge contributions to SI and cyberspace in general. I greatly appreciate your work. But frankly, I do not appreciate unsought opinions, yours or anyone else's, on what my personality is suited for. For four years I have resisted over-trading amoung other things very well thank you. I suggest you resist trying to diagnose my or anyone else's personality on the basis of an electronic post or two.

Oh, and by the way, I keep my broker expectations very reasonable. I will not waste time and energy perpetually haranging a broker. While I do occasionally vent on the schwab thread after they amaze me again on one of my low volume accounts, I usually just make the best of the little broker glitches we all get and move on to the next trade. I suggest you not blame me for someone else's behavior.

My humble opinion says lets return to the topic of interest to the thread... which I believe was the relative value of a high-maintenance setup of an MBT versus the bare bones of a Datek...

Good trading to all!
