I just had an experience in the same ballpark as Tim Luke's. I don't know if I spoke with you, Ross, when I called a half hour ago, but whoever answered the phone was borderline rude with me. I identified myself as someone who had just filled out the application and was about to mail it in with my check. I wanted to know where on your site the manual was located. I was told , in no uncertain terms, that I would not have access until my check was recieved and I'd been assigned an account number.
While I don't disagree with your policy, your tone could be a hell of a lot more friendly and helpful. Remember that this is a small community and word about rudeness gets around quickly. I know you're busy, but too busy for polite customer service? Shame on you.

thanks for the response but if it was you that i spoke with ( you must have a good memory) and you are the top dog there i think i will take my business elsewhere. i don't need an attitude when i'm paying huge sums of commission per year.

regards

you may not need my business and that is just fine since there are others out there. BUT keep in mind that i get over a 100 messages a day 1/2 of which people are asking who i trade through and if i can recommend anyone.

i guess business is great at MB.

Ross

Is there any way to place stops on NASDAQ stocks. ISI seems to be the only way to place stops and I was wondering if NASDAQ stop orders can be placed via ISI or is ISI limited to listed stocks only.

Hi, Ross.

I just saw MB Trading mentioned and I've glanced at the web site. I am very impressed with it. While I day trade a lot, I am not a day trader with the sophisticated tools you offer. I am interested in expanding to that level. I probably generate enough trades to qualify for free data feed from your company.

I use a (fast) Macintosh. I realize your software is PC software, not Mac software. I wonder if anyone is using your system using Virtual PC, or an Orange Micro PC board in a Macintosh, and if so, if I could talk to people doing that, to get an idea of how that works for them.

I'm also wondering if your company is considering providing the system with Macintosh software?

Thanks in advance for your reponse, and anyone else who can address these questions would be appreciated, as well.

Linda
