Decision time coming up for the market? S&P approaching or through upper trendline? Fundamentals are the worst they've been in many years.

If Greeny drops the rates at this juncture, I think he sold this country to irresponsible speculation. If he does that anyway, a) we will see an unprecedented piggish rally (DELL at 100 in 2 weeks, YHOO at 200 in 3 weeks); OR b) the dollar will tank against other major currencies, foreign capital flees and the market tanks.
I think the most possible outcome (90% probability) is (b) what do you think?
