More tweaks were agreed to today, but as for major revisions, not a chance. The "consensus" in support of the bill is far too delicate. S. 2392 may well be on the floor tomorrow. Of note, the committee will draft and file its report after the bill (assumedly) passes the Senate. Which means, of course, that the Batter Royale to define the bill will continue for at least another week. Aaaargh!

Looks like House Judiciary Chairman Hyde will recommend that the leadership move the bill under suspension (guess he's a little busy with other matters), and Rep. Dreier's staff has indicated that he isn't inclined to seek further changes, either.

As for an up-to-date site, there really isn't one -- things are moving too fast -- but NAM's is as good as any: nam.org
