tippet,

Over the past couple of weeks I've been picking up stuff like IBM, UK, HWP, KO, GE, I've been holding CMGI from October 1997 at 26 1/2 before it split 2 for 1 after running up to 100 a few months ago. It's had a hell of a run with more to go, I think. Now around 56. (to name a few). The other companies I named here are self explanatory, I suspect. I know KO just dumped some bad news, but I drink a lot of diet coke, I might as well own the company. CMGI is NASDAQ. (Why am I mentioning that? I'm sure you know that.) I like looking for big companies with healthy chart patterns. CMGI may not be as big as the others mentioned here, but I think it eventually will be. MSFT is interested in that internet company, I just hope that isn't the kiss of death. MER is my favorite because it made me a fortune since I first bought a lot of it dirt cheap during the fire sale in the midst of the 1987 Kahuna and I've enjoyed several 2 for 1 splits along the way.
