With the elections so close the democrats are trying to juggle at this point and keep everything in the air 'til Nov.

If re-elected they will then feel free to support the Pres. If most of them are defeated, it's "bye bye Bill."(although it will be interesting to see how congress handles the 65% of the populace that now say he should stay in the job.
