Judging by the headlines, I'm guessing we won't be getting a rate cut imminently? Why the sudden rally? Or is this a top and a shorting op?

Don, I have been applying the Williams R formula to the last 4 1/2 months worth of INDU SPX and OEX indexes. I have noticed that the 13 day sMA is at the highest level in the last 4 1/2 months. The last peaks occurred on the following days: Date OEX SPX DJ30 4/20/98 .67 .67 .59 7/20/98 .66 .67 .56 8/21/98 .56 .55 .55 Today .67 .70 .60 After 7/20 the DJ30 dropped ~800 pts After 8/21 the DJ30 dropped ~950 pts.
