Good point, Jim. All I can add is that some of the iMac parts were already purchased in quantity for the AIO and that the 233 mhz processor should be extremely cheap.

Let's remember that Apple was cash flow positive from operations even in the horrible Jan-March 1997 quarter. I think the big inventory cutdown has contributed a lot to Apple's cash, for one thing.

We're making our best attempt on $38 now. Perhaps some money left the stock this morning to play elsewhere and is now returning. I know I sold a little bit this morning to buy something else. So far it's working.
