I can understand when the company was not "fully reporting" and could not issue forward looking statements (I believe this is since over), I can understand potential customers not wanting their shareholders to realize that they are incurring a large expense due to their lack of foresight on the Y2K issue; what I can't understand is the motivation of total silence.

The company could issue a more generic statement in reference to the the current backlog of customers that they have contracts for with a disclaimer explaining that they will not release customer name information due to contract constraints. They would be out of there minds to issues an outright lie, realizing that it opens the door to legal actions.

The company could issue the value of contracts in negotiation that are contingent and have their estimated probability of getting those contracts closed in a certain time frame. Again it helps to keep the other owners of this company (us) informed without applying additional pressure on the management that would distract them from doing their job of running the company.

We have a right to know what is happening at least in generic terms and preferably in detail.

I wonder how much money was flushed on their recent tour to attract more investors. If they tried to sell the company based on increased share price and profitability they have certainly cut their own throats in way of credibility for any future tours. This lack of ANY information has to be borderline negligence on TPI's part.
