Collapse of the World Market Economy Or: Why are there buyers for Royal Oak at this price? The reason there are people buying Royal Oak at this Market Cap is because there is a level of "hobby investor" that is unable to understand the concept of value. This individual is being told that the financial world is about to come to an end. This is the same mind set that believe in UFO's, Crop Circles etc. Here is an example of some material that was posted on the Royal Oak board on Yahoo.
