<What other equipment companies are reasonably pure plays in disk drive?> I think most of the pure plays are private companies. Many are both semiconductor and disk drive equipment plays as the demands are similar. Names like Ultratech, Veeco, Nanometrics, Zygo, K&S, KLA, etc. J-Mar seems to be getting good results. I would suggest you go to the Disk Drive Discussion Forum thread and ask Stitch. He is very knowledgeable from a real world view point. He talks highly of Veeco. Regards, Mark
