In other words, GI and SFA are for allowing the purchase of settops from third parties beginning in 2000, but they are against the part of the FCC order that forbids cable operators from deploying settops that include an integrated security pod beginning in 2005. I have to say that I agree with GI and SFA -- I don't like the government to forbid anything, even if it has to do with an OS.
