A few things attracted me here. First of all, I look for businesses that have a large upside, but aren't currently dominated by anyone, or aren't really developed at all. I think internet gambling is one of the latter. Then I look for companies that have the best shot at being a big player in a hopefully soon to be big market. Quite often this does happen in reverse, I hear about a company then look at the industry. That happened with GLOW.

This stock is probably the riskiest investment I've made to date, as there isn't a lot of information on glow, but I think the industry that they're in is good and that they're in a good position to do well in it. Of course, more solid, verifiable information on their financials, the company in general and the future of their industry would have been nice, but it'll be quite awhile before that information is available.

Actually, the 3 3/8 purchase (sctr, now xmit) is one of two under $10 (with hdwy being the second at 8 1/2 and 5 3/8). Make that the first of three with glow being the third.

One final note: I can't remember the last time that I stock closed above where I bought it, as glow did today. Certainly not in the last two years (about 15 purchases). That's gotta be a good sign.
